Fired-Up Applesauce

Pass those latkes! I took some unsweetened applesauce and put it in a saucepan. I added some of those old school Red Hots, the cinnamon candies, 2 sticks of cinnamon, and maple sugar. I heated it up on the lowest setting for about an hour. Yum!!! Spicy & Sweet!
46 ounce jar of unsweetened applesauce
2 sticks of cinnamon
4 ounces (1/2 cup) Red Hots candies
4 Tablespoons sugar
Heat in a saucepan for about an hour, stirring occasionally.
