One of my favorites!

You might be familiar with the Jewish ritual head covering worn by males in synagogue, called a kippah or yarmulke.  They can be so blah.  Sometimes they're such a pain to keep on, and even need to be pinned or clipped into hair.  Not fun.  I created my own pattern for a larger kippah that can be worn by pretty much anyone, from 2 year olds to 92 year olds!  Then I went searching for favorite, treasured t-shirts featuring popular characters and teams.  I also found bedding and other home dec fabrics to use along with the character t-shirts, movie t-shirts, television show t-shirts, and vacations t-shirts too!  These fabrics were transformed into very special, unique, fun, comfortable and easy to wear kippot!  I have some listed in my Etsy store: MaybeSew.etsy.com!  Today you can see a picture of some of my favorite kippot featured on a great crafting website: Craft Envy!
All of the kippot pictured were made out of treasured jersey knit t-shirts that were outgrown or duplicates.  I sew four equal panels for the 'main' side and the 'lining' side.  All of them are fully reversible to coordinating fabric from the same article of clothing, or white cotton.  Thanks for stopping by!
