Do you ukulele?

This unexpected time home has given me time to do lots of things I’ve been wanting to do! I’m getting some graduate level coursework done for recertification. I’ve used my self-taught sewing skills to refashion some big and boxy school spirit wear, I’ve learned countless new tech apps to use for remote teaching, and now... teaching myself to play the ukulele. I’m terrible, but it’s only been a few days!

I once had the pleasure of working as a Kindergarten teacher in a school with a fabulous school counselor. She used puppets and even played the ukulele. I knew then I wanted to someday learn! I have family in Hawaii also, so it seemed like a good plan. I bought a ukulele online, a digital tuner, and searched for tutorials on YouTube. After all, I learned to paint, do electrical work, plumbing, and how to sew by using YouTube... so why not?
