DIY light box for school

I made a light box for my kindergarten classroom! I am so excited! I got all of the instructions from The Kindergarten Smorgasboard. I took pictures along the way to help anyone else looking to do the same!

This is the end of the power cord that needed to have a hole drilled to fit it inside the box.

 I used these lights: flexible changing lights on a strip.

after a few coats, but I added more!

I needed a frosted paint to cover the clear middle strip of the lid, but...

this paint was not meant for plastic and flaked off!

this metallic paint was great for the inside of the box

this paint did the trick for the lid
